The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Toyota driven by 26 year old Kirsten A. Kawasa of Louisburg, Kansas struck a cow in the roadway.
Kirsten A. Kawasa sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the crash by J's Southland Tow.
