Stealing reported in El Dorado Springs

On Sept. 16, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on SW highway 82 in reference to a stolen dirt bike. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Travis Berning. Berning stated it was an off-brand green 50cc dirt bike that went missing from his carport area. It was last seen on Sept. 13 around noon. Estimated loss value is $200.

On Sept. 15, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to a residence on SW Highway 82 in reference to a stolen dirt bike. Upon arrival, the deputy spoke with Jeremy Henderson. Henderson stated he came outside the morning of the 15th and noticed one of the barn doors partially open. Henderson stated he went inside the barn and noticed a 2008 Kawasaki KLX110 was missing. Estimated loss value is $1,200. On Sept. 16, with the help of the El Dorado Springs Police Department, the dirt bike was recovered in El Dorado Springs. The Henderson family was contacted to identify the dirt bike. The dirt bike was released back to the Hendersons.
