Foster pleaded guilty in August and sentencing was delayed until today.
Foster was charged in December of 2010 with 4 counts of child molestation. In December of 2010, one of the victims revealed while in treatment for behavioral problems that Kenneth Foster had abused him and made him watch pornographic movies. Further investigation revealed the other children in the family had also been violated by Foster.
Testimony was heard from Fosters sister blaming Fosters alcoholism on his behavior. A victim impact statement was also delivered to the Court by one of the Victims.
Before passing sentence, Judge Journey related to Foster that being an alcoholic did not excuse his behavior. Foster also turned to the Victim and told her he was sorry for the pain he caused her.
Kenneth Foster was taken into custody and will be transported to the Missouri Department of Corrections. Prosecuting Attorney Hugh C. Jenkins represented the State.
