State Farm of Butler Student Athlete of the Week

Kellie Davidson State Farm is proud to announce this week's Student Athlete of the week Mayson Adams. Mayson is a junior on the Cass Midway varsity football team. Mayson in his last game had 26 Rushing Attempts with 237 yards and 3 TD's. His coach Larry Burchett stated that he was a solid student, works hard and will play wherever the team needs him to play. He has stepped up and matured a lot and is a big asset to his team. When Mayson was asked what it takes to become an elite athlete he stated "it takes hard work and doing whatever it takes to succeed. He said it takes a team player who wants the whole team to excel." It was a pleasure meeting with Mayson, Coach Burchett, Midway's athletic director Jim Riggs and Angela Gibson the principal. Good Luck Mayson and the Midway Vikings.
