Update: Charges filed in Harrisonville assault case



On October 17th, 2019 Harrisonville Police Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of West Wall Street regarding a reported Robbery and Stabbing. When Officers arrived, they contacted a 19 year old of Harrisonville, MO. 


Officers observed a severe cut to the left side of the victim’s head going through his ear lobe and across and down his neck. They also found the victim had received a single stab wound to his back near his spinal column. 

The victim was transported to a Kansas City, MO hospital for treatment. During the investigation, it was discovered that several personnel items of the victims had been taken and there were possibly multiple suspects. 

Today (10-23-2019) we are happy to report that a total of 5 suspects have been charged in this case and are in custody. 

Those charged are identified as Nicholas Schaffert, 17 year old of Harrisonville, MO, Aaron Collins, 18 year old of Harrisonville, MO, Garrett Siegenthaler, 18 year old of Harrisonville, MO, Devin Young, 17 year old of Harrisonville, MO and Vivianna Samek, 17 year old of Harrisonville, MO. 

All 5 have been charged with 1 count of Robbery 1st Degree, 1 count of Assault 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action, each charge is a Felony count and has a $25,000.00 cash only bond.
