Update: Harrisonville man seriously injured after train collides with truck in Vernon County

On 10/29/19 around 1:00pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with several other emergency personnel responded to a report of a train colliding with a vehicle on Arnold Road around 5 miles north of Stotesbury, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2014 Ford F-150 driven by 37 year old Brandon N. Gott of Harrisonville, Missouri stopped on the railroad tracks and was stuck by a northbound General Electric Locomotive.

Mr. Gott sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported to Belton Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The truck was totaled and towed from the scene of the crash by Garwood's Wrecker Service of Nevada, Missouri.
