Garden City teen killed after being stuck by a semi truck

On 11/12/19 around 9:10pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County responded to a pedestrian that was stuck by a semi truck on Missouri 7 Highway and Route Z in Garden City, Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when 18 year old Masen A. Baugh of Garden City jumped into the path of the 2013 Freightliner driven by 31 year old Charles A. Hand of Harlingen, Texas.

Mr. Baugh was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and he was transported to Frontier Forensics.

This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 62nd fatality accident of 2019.
