The Kansas State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2003 Cadillac CTS driven by 43 year old Shawn A. Teagarden of LaCygne, Kansas failed to stop at the intersection and struck a embankment.
Mr. Teagarden was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and he was taken to Frontier Forensics.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by Saker Tow of Ft. Scott, Kansas.
