Edith is survived by three sons, Donald Schapeler and wife Kelli of Rockville, Missouri, Philip Schapeler and wife Judy of Butler, Missouri and David Schapeler and wife Belinda of Appleton City, Missouri; one daughter, Linda Howard and husband Lyle of Butler, Missouri; nine grandchildren, Michael Snethen and wife Grace of Butler, Missouri, Mark and Monte Schapeler of Butler, Missouri, Matthew Schapeler of Lathrop, Missouri, Amelia Murphy and husband Keith of Nevada, Missouri, Katrina Rich and husband Jeremy of Rich Hill, Missouri, Rachel Dickerson and husband Tanner of Newton, Kansas, Robin Swanson and husband Micah of Nevada, Missouri and Hayden Schapeler of Appleton City, Missouri one step-grandchild, six great-grandchildren, Kayla Snethen, and Logan Snethen of Butler, Missouri, Duff Murphy, Fox Murphy and Pace Murphy of Nevada, Missouri and Madilyn Swanson of Nevada, Missouri and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
