Obituary - LaVerne L. Leininger

LaVerne L. Leininger, 89, a lifelong resident of Sheldon, MO passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Truman Healthcare in Lamar. LaVerne was born in the farm home of his parents, Lloyd R. and Mabel (Shaver) Leininger, just south of Seldon on January 1, 1930. He was united in marriage to Helen Marie Fowler on August 17, 1949 in Eureka Springs, AR, and together they celebrated 70 years of marriage.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Sheldon Christian Church in Sheldon, MO with Pastor Ralph Shead officiating. Interment will follow in Sheldon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Memorials are suggested in his memory to the Sheldon Christian Church or the charity of choice.
