The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Honda Accord driven by 68 year old Robin R. Snowden of Adrian, Missouri was traveling eastbound on a private drive, vehicle turned southward on the paved driveway of the residence and the driver accelerated causing the vehicle to strike the house before coming to rest.
Robin R. Snowden sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and secured at the scene of the accident. The damage to the residence wasn't mentioned in this report.
