It is hereby ordered, that a General Election will be held in the City of Drexel, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, as provided by law and the Ordinances of this city, for the purpose of electing the following City Officers to wit:
Alderman at Large – one year term
Alderman at Large – two year term
Alderman at Large – two year term
That the place for voting for Cass County Residents shall be at the Drexel City Hall 137 East Main Street, Drexel, Missouri. The place for voting for Bates County Residents shall be at the Drexel Community Center 410 E. Bates Street, Drexel, Missouri. The polls shall be open until 7:00 p.m.
Filing for a Declaration of Candidacy will begin on December 17, 2019 through January 21, 2020 (normal hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Dec. 17 – Jan.20 and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. on Jan. 21) at the Drexel City Hall with the City Clerk for their names to be printed on the April 7, 2020 ballot.
