Gordon grew up in Tennessee and Kansas. Following high school, he served in the United States Army. He drove trucks while in the Army and later became an over the road trucker and diesel mechanic. Gordon enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and working on old cars, “he could fix anything”.
Survivors include one daughter, Stephaine Dunn (Garry), Moundville, MO; one son, Weston Brooks; Kandy Brooks; four grandsons, Lucus Schwabe, Elijah Dunn, Kennedy Brooks, and Roman Brooks; one sister, Norma Long. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Amanda Flaherty.
Private family committal services will be held at a later date.
