Kenneth was a farmer for most of his life. While in school he was awarded several Future Farmer of America awards. He was a member of the Sedalia Rod & Gun Club, Sedalia, MO. He enjoyed his coffee groups at the grain elevator and fertilizer plant. He also enjoyed gardening of all kinds. Kenneth was a friend of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Surviving are one brother, John Whitchurch, Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Mary George and her husband Bob, Clinton, MO and Helen Whitchurch, Clinton, MO; two nephews, Scott George, Springfield, MO and Kevin George, Clinton, MO; and one great-nephew, Christopher George, Clinton, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends just before the funeral service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Sedalia Rod & Gun Club, and these donations may be left in care of the funeral home.
