Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, MO. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, at the Atkinson Funeral Home.
Rose was born January 26, 1943 in Harrisonville, MO a daughter of Clyde Velmer and Kate Christine (Eiffert) Barnard. She was a graduate of Harrisonville High School. Rose owned and operated her own beauty shop, Rose’s Beauty Shop. She had lived in Lee’s Summit before moving back to Harrisonville.

Rose was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville. She was also a member of the Brown Bag Lunch Book Club at the Harrisonville Branch of the Cass County Public Library.
Rose is survived by four sons, Edwin Miller, AR, Randy Miller, Harrisonville, MO, Matt Lopez, Lagrange, GA, and Jeremy McAllister, Arcata, CA; one daughter, Amber Mallinson, Archie, MO; one brother, Ira Barnard, Adrian, MO; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
