Wallace “Doby” Ray, age 78 of Amsterdam, Missouri formerly of Butler, Missouri died Saturday December 14, 2019 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born June 30, 1941 to Jack Brown And Dorothy Ray Brown in Butler. On June 18, 1961 Doby married Janice Irene Kerr and to this union five children were born. Doby later in December 2015 married Pat Crim.
Doby is survived by his wife, Pat Crim Ray of Amsterdam, Missouri; two sons, Wallace Ray and wife Donna of Kansas City, Missouri and Patrick Ray and wife Shelli of Blue Springs, Missouri; two daughters, Lena Ray of Independence, Missouri and Sherry Recob of Gladstone, Missouri; stepson, George Crim of Springfield, Missouri; stepdaughter, Cassie Crim of Adrian, Missouri; sister, Lorraine Wilkinson of Belton, Missouri; and 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Janice Irene Ray; one son, Tony Ray; three brothers Jack Mack Brown Jr. and twin brothers Earl and Carl Brown and son-in-law, Darrell Recob.
