We have received several reports of possible scam calls claiming to be from Evergy, formerly KCP&L. The callers are telling citizens that their electricity will be disconnected if they do not submit a payment to them. We recommend hanging up and calling your electricity provider directly to verify this information. Please be very cautious before you give anyone your personal or banking information over the phone.
