Theft Reported in rural Butler

On December 9, 2019 a Deputy responded to a residence on County Road 8002 in Butler to take a theft report. Upon his arrival he made contact with the reporting parties who stated that when they returned home from being on vacation their residence had been broken into.

Missing from their home was a laptop, a wallet, a checkbook and a Winchester .30-.30 rifle. Their safe along with it's contents was also taken from the residence. The value of the stolen items was estimated to be around $8300.00.
