Alice Foote Trammell was born May 16, 1934 in Bates County Missouri to Bufford and Cora Drysdale Everett. She grew up in the Butler area and graduated from Butler High School in 1952. She was united in marriage to LaVerne Foote and from this union three sons were born. He would precede her in death in 1983. She later married Lowell Trammell.
For 29 years Alice worked as the High School secretary, retiring in 1996. She would fill many roles at the school and very much enjoyed her job and the students. Alice also loved to travel and took many trips all over the country and the world. She enjoyed her grandchildren, spending time with each of them playing games and attending their various sporting events. She also liked to read and was a long time member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Butler.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Laverne Foote and Lowell Trammell, son Randy Foote, granddaughter Rebecca Foote, brother Richard Everett, and sister Dixie Smith. She is survived by her sons, Rex Foote and Russell Foote, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and brother Tommy Everett.
