Kenneth Dean Silver, 88 of Nevada, Missouri passed away after a very short illness on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
Kenny was born on June 21, 1931 in Haxtun, Colorado to Ira & Hazel Silver. He grew up with 13 siblings. Kenny married the love of his life, Thelma Kendrick on January 18, 1963 in Oklahoma, and she survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and very special granddaughter Faith, include one sister, Philis of Atchison, Kansas; 6 known grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews to which he truly felt something unique and special about each and every one. Not to mention the countless others that held very special places in his heart. Most of knew him simply as “Pops.” We can’t forget his 2 girlfriends, Tammy and Janet, as well as his other daughter/sister-in-law, Cissy. He was proceeded in death by his parents; all 3 of his children, Kenny Jr, Tammy and Tim; 12 Siblings; and a step grandson.
