Leslie R. Young of Clinton, Mo. Passed away on 02/25/202 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. She was born June 12, 1963 in Farmington, Missouri. On 10/12/1996 she married Ronald Young at their home near Clinton, MO. He survives of the home.
When she was younger she loved spending time at her grandparents home. She worked at a factory in Farmington, Missouri running an industrial embroidery machine which she loved. When she moved to Clinton, Missouri she worked for Creative Screen Printing. She then became a caregiver for her mother-in-law until the time of her death.
Although Leslie and Ron had no kids of their own they kept their house full with toy poodles that they spoiled rotten and treated just like their kids. She also loved to cook and grow brightly colored flowers at their home. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her loving giving nature and she will be missed by all.
Among survivors are her daughter Amy Tatom of Sour Lake, Texas. Sisters: Terry and husband Doug Bloom of Farmington, Mo., Paula and husband John Graff of Portage Des Sioux, Mo., Dana and Tim Trahan of Sour Lake, Texas. Sister in-Laws Sandy and husband Gary Doll, Urich, Mo., Marsha and husband Donald Cook of Clinton, Mo. and Kathy Roos of Clinton, Mo. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Wanda Pirtle and stepdad Jim Pirtle, her mother and father-in-law, Lloyd and Elizabeth Young.
