We are excited to announce our State Farm Student Athlete of the week Sage Bolser from the Rich Hill Tigers. Sage is a senior on the boys basketball team. Sage was nominated by his Coach Eric Moles and Athletic Director Ashley Arwood.
Sage helped lead the Rich Hill Tigers to a 2-0 record last week. They defeated the Jasper Eagles and the Archie Whirlwinds. Sage average 20.5 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game and 6.5 steals per game while going 8-11 from the free throw line. The two wins this past week helped Rich Hill climb to 3-2 in conference play.
Sage also earned All-Tournament team recently in the Archie Tournament. Sage excels as a leader on the court as well as in the Construction program at Vo-tech.
When we asked Sage to describe what it takes to become an elite athlete in his own words he stated "it takes hard work in the classroom and being a team player on the floor by being a leader and helping create opportunities for your teammates." We enjoyed getting to meet Sage and wish him and the Rich Hill tigers good luck tonight as they take on the Drexel Bobcats.
