On March 21, 2020 at approximately 1435 hours, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a body that was located near the ballfields in the City of Arcadia.
Upon arrival Crawford County Sheriff's Deputies located a deceased adult male, later identified as Lofton C. Younge, 52 of Arcadia, Kansas. The Crawford County Deputy Coroner responded to the scene. There were no obvious signs of foul play.
The body was transported to Kansas City for autopsy to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing. Crawford County EMS, Arcadia Fire, and Mulberry PD also responded to the scene.
