From the desk of Heather Diehl Butler Ward 2 City Councilwoman

Butler City Council had a finance/budget meeting this last night! 3.5 hours to be exact! But we did get through the budget and found some items that we need to adjust, some further questions/accounts to investigate, and a few other things to still decide on. 

We did make progress though. We do not feel comfortable passing the budget until we are completely sure that it looks accurate. We are diving deeper than has probably been done for quite some time.

We do not take this job lightly! We want to ensure taxpayers that we are making the best decisions we can for the future of Butler.

We will meet again Saturday morning at 7am to hopefully finish up the budget to prepare to adopt it at our next meeting.
