From the Extension trivia night held last weekend:The Bates County Extension Council hosted the 2nd annual Kickin' Chicken and Trivia Night fundraiser on Saturday, March 7, at the Adrian Optimist building. It was a packed house that enjoyed fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls, and dessert. Twenty-three teams participated in the trivia night competition, as well as playing bingo, heads or tails, and rock, paper, scissors games. The night finished off with announcing silent auction winners and a live auction.
