Please note: Due to precautions concerning COVID-19 (Coronavirus), all events are subject to change.
If you have been in close contact with a person known to have Coronavirus or if you have recently traveled to an area with ongoing spread of Coronavirus, as well as experiencing fever, cough, or trouble breathing and need medical attention, please call 660-476-5219, TO ALERT STAFF PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL! Ellett Memorial Hospital recommends washing your hands often! Wash them often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. IF YOU ARE SICK: You should wear a facemask when you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider's office. If you are not able to wear a facemask (for example, because it causes trouble breathing), then you should do your best to cover your coughs and sneezes, and people who are caring for you should wear a facemask if they enter your room. If you are NOT sick: You do not need to wear a facemask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a facemask). EMH is taking all appropriate and necessary precautions for the safety and well-being of our community.

Governor Parson’s executive order moving the municipal election from April 2 to June 2 this year, allows time to have communication concerning what Proposition K.I.D.S. (Appleton City Schools levy) is all about. With the arrival of social distancing and restrictions on public activity, the options are limited. One total safe way is through email. With this in mind, AC School has created the following email account: propkids2020!@yahoo.com to give people in the school district a way of asking questions and receiving information. They will still be using newspaper articles and the district website and facebook pages to provide information about what Proposition K.I.D.S. is all about. Questions received through propikids2020!@yahoo.com will help them to be clear and thorough in answering your questions. If conditions improve between now and June 2, where public gathering are no longer a threat, they will look into scheduling a public forum but for now, this will hopefully get the discussion going.
