The Kansas State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the when the 2013 Peterbilt driven by 23 year old Kristopher Gloodt of Neosho, Missouri was northbound on US-69 when it bounced off a guardrail and struck a 2014 Chevrolet truck driven by 65 year old Sharon J. Duncan of Nevada, Missouri.
Sharon J. Duncan sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The Chevrolet was towed from the scene of the crash by Saker Tow of Ft. Scott, Kansas.
