Flavel was born July 11th, 1921 in Warsaw, Missouri to Arthur and Frankie (Byrd) Brown. She spend her life raising her family and enjoyed volunteering at Westwood Care Center for 14 years.
Flavel was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd Nave and daughter Janet Day.
She is survived by her son Roger Flippen of Clinton, daughter Donna McQueen, of Clinton, Son-in-law Jerry Day and wife Johnnie of Clinton, step son Larry Nave of Washington State, a sister Doris Blondenna Morris of California State. Also surviving are four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, eight great- great grandchildren and one great-great-great granddaughter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
