Storms likely today

Into each life some rain must fall and today that will literally be the case. A few rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be possible today. 

Some of these storms this afternoon/evening could be strong with gusty winds 30 to 50 mph and small hail for areas south of Kansas City. 

So, be sure to stay weather aware today. Otherwise, the rest of the weekend looks pretty nice with seasonable temperatures in the mid 60s Saturday and mid 60s to around 70 on Sunday.
