How is BCMH screening for COVID-19?
Before entering the hospital emergency room and clinics, you will be asked a series of questions and have your temperature taken. All who are approved for entry must wear a mask. If you have a mask, please put it on before entering. Homemade masks are permitted. A mask will be supplied for those who are not already wearing one.
Where do I go for testing?
BCMH continues to be very limited on testing supplies at this time. The best thing to do is to call your primary care provider if you believe you have symptoms of COVID-19. Or, if you have concerning respiratory symptoms and need emergency medical care, call 911, or call ahead to the BCMH Emergency Room to alert them before you enter (660-200-7010).
Where can I seek medical care?
Family Care Clinics continues to offer appointments in two of our clinics, as well as options for seeking health care from your home using Telehealth. Our emergency room is open 24/7 for all of your emergency health care needs.
High Street Family Care Clinic in Butler is our designated respiratory clinic. If you have non-emergency respiratory symptoms, you will be scheduled to see a health care provider at High Street FCC. Before you enter the clinic for your appointment, please call 660-200-7135. Our staff will give you directions for your care.
Nursery Street Family Care Clinic in Butler is the site for patients in need of non-respiratory urgent care and assessments. This clinic is also scheduling well visits for children ages 0-17 on Monday mornings. No sick patients will be scheduled during our well clinic hours.
Telehealth visits are available. Depending on your needs, you may schedule a visit with a Family Care Clinic provider by phone or a virtual video visit. Call 660-200-3627 to learn whether Telehealth is right for you. Learn more about BCMH Telehealth.
Family Care Clinic appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No evening or Saturday appointments are available at this time.
If you have a patient portal account, you may use your portal to request a prescription refill. You may also call your provider regarding refill requests.
Family Care Clinics in Adrian and Rich Hill remain closed until further notice.

Adult patients should plan to enter our hospital and clinics alone, when possible.
Please be aware that companions of adult patients will be asked to wait in their vehicle rather than our waiting areas during the patient’s visit. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for adult patients who need extra assistance. Our staff will provide any assistance needed for patient care.

What are the hospital’s visitor guidelines?
BCMH is open for your health care needs. The following guidelines are in place until further notice:
Visitors are limited to the facility to one visitor per inpatient and two visitors for an end-of-life situation.
The cafeteria is closed to the public.
No visitors 16 years and younger will be allowed to enter the hospital.
The hospital’s north/front entrance is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please use the Emergency Department entrance during evenings and weekends.

Why are some services still closed?
During this time of pandemic, we must continue to take precautions for the safety of our patients, staff and community. Hospital leadership has planned a gradual reopening, including additional in-clinic visits with outpatient specialty physicians and Family Care Clinics. How can I pay my bill or get financial counseling?
At this time, no in-person payments will be taken at the hospital. Payments for hospital or clinic bills may be made by:
