He was promoted and worked as a Detective until he resigned in 2013 and moved to Iowa.
Mango had a witty sense of humor and always made you laugh.
He never knew a stranger. His fellow co-workers and the citizens of Bates County were very fond of his personality and his work ethic. Sheriff Anderson said that Mango was a true asset to Bates County and will be missed dearly.
