Eldorado Springs man seriously injured in Cedar County motorcycle accident

On 5/21/20 around 7:35pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cedar County along with El Dorado Springs Fire Department responded to a motorcycle accident just north of El Dorado Springs on Missouri 82 Highway.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2005 Kawasaki 800 motorcycle driven by 50 year old Leslie C. Houts of El Dorado Springs, Missouri lost control on a curve, traveled off the left side of the roadway striking a road sign and fence.

Mr. Houts sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.

The bike was towed from the scene by a private party.
