This increase in levy places the District’s operating levy 5th out of 10 school districts in Cass County. The ballot question will read as follows:
Shall Archie R-V School District of Cass County, Missouri, be authorized to increase its operating tax levy by $0.27 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation for operating expenses of the District, including increasing compensation for employees in order to attract and retain quality faculty and staff?
If this question is approved, the District’s operating tax levy is estimated to increase from the current operating levy of $3.7194 to $3.9894 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation of real and personal property.
