Investigators believe that Stuart F. Hampton, 34, Peculiar went to the residence on E. 233rd Street and fired numerous rounds into the house striking his cousin, John J. Still, 42, Peculiar.
Mr. Still was transported to an area hospital in serious condition and is currently hospitalized. Mr. Hampton was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot.
The investigation is ongoing.
