She was head of house keeping at Best Western Motel and owned a ceramic shop. She loved family time and planting flowers. Martin and her had lived in Clinton since 1985. She was proceed in death by her husband Martin , brother Lloyd, and her parents.
She was survived by three sons, Charles Bowling and wife, Sandy, Richmond, Robert Bowling and wife, Karen, Kansas City, Kansas, and David Vaughn, Jr. And wife Karen, Kansas City; three daughters, Jean Vaughn of Chicago IL, Vickie Vaughn of Clinton, as well as seven foster children, June Anderson, Calhoun, Patty Markhand, Independence, Jackie Hall, North Carolina, Melinda Dryer, Florida, Tammy Dobbins, kansas City.Also surviving are many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and her sister Lora Mae rawlings of Kansas City.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 6-8pm at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 at 11 AM at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. The family suggest memorial contributions to the Lois Vaughn Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
