Velma Veryl (Byrum) Willis was born April 29, 1938 to Herbert and Velma (Summers) Byrum. Velma married John Willis. She enjoyed playing games and going to the Casinos. Velma was known to be very kind and never met a stranger. She had always hoped to win the lottery to help others. Velma was a very social person and loved to help people.
Velma is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Phyllis Ebeling, a son Ira Jud Paxton, 2 infant sisters, and an infant brother.
Velma is survived by her husband John, daughters, Susan Church, Judy (Ron) Warner, and Cheryl Willis, grandchildren Cher Wilson, Andrea Wilson, Johnna (Jeff) Lauffer, Justin Warner, Allyssa Warner, Janelle Dacy, Scott (Kelly) Drake, Thomas (TJ) Willis, Jenna Adams and Addie Adam, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, MO.
