On 5/28/20 around 11:57am the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Harrisonville Police and Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident involving a semi truck at southbound I-49 just south of Missouri 291 in Harrisonville.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2019 Freightliner Cascadia driven by 29 year old Terry Hines of Memphis,Tennessee began sliding due to wet road conditions causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway and jackknife.
A passenger in the semi truck 32 year old Jessica N. Duncan of Memphis, Tennessee sustained minor injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The Freightliner was towed from the scene of the accident by J's Southland Tow.
