The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Dodge Caravan driven by 39 year old Jason A. Hallam of Moundville, Missouri veered off the roadway and struck a culvert.
Jason A. Hallam sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
A 4 year old juvenile male passenger in the vehicle was seriously injured in this accident and he was taken to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was towed from the scene of the accident by Southeast Tow of Nevada.
