I see that heat indices are potentially dangerous this weekend; especially for those with underlying medical conditions who aren’t acclimated to the heat yet.

Last summer, Bates County had one heat-related death. While this lower than most, even one is too many when in most cases, it is preventable. 

I’d like to be really bored this summer - and you can help! By thinking ahead, staying hydrated, taking breaks and most importantly, checking on your health compromised friends and neighbors.
