Harrisonville 4th of July Celebration

The Annual Independence Day Celebration will take place on July 4, at Harrisonville City Park.

There will not be the traditional activities as in the past, in an effort to maintain social-distancing guidelines, but the park will be open throughout the entire day.

Fireworks will begin at dusk, or approximately 9:30pm.

There will be parking available within City Park on a “first come, first serve basis”. Handicap parking will be located at the Outdoor Pool parking lot area, with designated signs.

Additional parking will be available outside City Park at the corner of Independence and Ash and in other City lots.

During the event, all City parking regulations will still apply. (Don’t park in No Parking zones or across other people’s driveways, etc…)

After the event, the Harrisonville Police Department will be on hand to assist guest with safely exiting the park. That said, please follow police directions when exiting. This will help to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you and that all are able to exit in a timely manner.
