Eddie William Shouse, age 77 of Butler, Missouri died Friday, June 26, 2020 at his home in rural Butler near Ballard, Missouri. He was born February 14, 1943 to Raymond Chester and Opal Hannah Hill Shouse in ElDorado Springs, Missouri.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Konna Shouse of Butler, Missouri; a son, Erik Shouse of Nevada, Missouri; two daughters, Mindy Shouse-Carnoali and husband Jeff of Independence, Missouri and Krista Shouse-Jones and husband Geoff of Columbia, Missouri; a brother, Cecil Shouse and wife Beverly of Rich Hill, Missouri; a sister, Kay Henley of Independence, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Konnar Jones, Karli Jones and Evelyn Shouse. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Bonnie Mae Shouse.
In practicing social distancing, we have a concern on the number of people who can gather in our Chapel. It is continuing to be difficult to bring our community together when a death occurs. Funerals are more than just ceremonies--they are avenues to bring family and friends together to support one another. If you know Eddie Shouse, a card or phone call to his family would go a long way in remembering him.
