To the Butler R-V School District family,

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for the opportunity to have served on the Butler R-V School Board. It has certainly opened my eyes to appreciate how much planning and effort goes into running a school district, and how many amazing people it takes to accomplish this endeavor. This experience has been one that I will carry with me forever, and I am grateful.

To the School Board members,
It has been a pleasure to work through the issues that our school district faces with each of you. You are a great group of folks that genuinely care about our schools, our kids, families, and our community. Your governance reflects that! I wish you all the best. Thank you!

To the Superintendent and Captain of our ship,
Your knowledge, vision, and great attitude are skills that serve you and our school district very well. Our district is in good hands, hopefully for many years to come. Thank you!

To the Administration,
Your example of leadership is paramount to the quality of education, morale, culture, and community in the buildings that you support and lead. I wish you all tremendous success as you continue to guide, shape, and challenge our educators while leading them along the path toward greatness. Thank you!

To the many heroes working behind the scenes in and on our facilities,
You keep the lights on, the grass mowed, the bills paid, the kids fed, and the wheels on the busses going round and round! Your contributions are many, please know that your hard work does not go unnoticed! Thank you!

Last but most importantly to the teachers, paraprofessionals, coaches, sponsors, and everyone in our district that enters the life of a child, You are the lifeblood of the educational system. Your influence on every child is something they will carry for a lifetime. Your willingness to give a piece of yourself to every child that enters your world resembles that of a farmer who plants a seed. The education, preparation, and great toil that goes into planting his field is an investment in the future, but his reward is not realized until long after his work is done. I pray that you continue to hone your craft, raise the bar for our district, and plant the seeds of greatness in to the hearts and minds of each and every child that enters the halls of our schools, that they might one day reach their greatest potential, and your true reward be realized. Thank you!

May God bless each and every one of you!

Very Sincerely Respectfully,

Dave Randalls
