The Missouri State Highway Patrol say the accident occurred when the 1999 Harley Davidson driven by 37 year old Robert D. Bowlin of Butler, Missouri struck a deer in the roadway, causing the occupants to be ejected from the motorcycle before coming to rest.
Robert D. Bowlin along with a passenger on his motorcycle 34 year old Allison L. Reitz of Butler, Missouri both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital.
The motorcycle was towed from the scene of the accident by a private tow.
