Appleton City woman injured after striking deer in the roadway

On 7/27/20 around 6:20pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on 52 East Highway around CR 3505 in rural Bates County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2007 Chrysler Pacifica driven by 70 year old Linda L. Roush of Appleton City, Missouri struck a deer that was in the roadway.

Linda L. Roush sustained moderate injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler for treatment.

The vehicle received extensive damages and it was towed from the scene of the accident by Bulldog Towing of Appleton City.
