Our district Re-Opening Task Force met again this evening and would like to provide you with a brief outline of our re-opening plan and learning options for the 2020 fall semester. We have requested that all families review the options and complete the form that was emailed to them indicating their learning choice for the semester. This information is needed to guide decision making and enable us to prepare to meet the needs of all students.
Face-to-Face/On-Site Learning Option
*As a district, we advocate for face-to-face learning
*All bus riders must wear a mask along with additional bus
procedures.

*Parents will be encouraged to transport students when possible.
*Students will wear masks when not in their classroom or when
social distancing isn’t possible.
*Students not permitted in the building before 7:50 am.
*Students K-12 will be taught how to use Google Classroom within
the first few weeks of school to familiarize students. *Chromebooks and chargers will be sent home with students daily
for grades 3-12.
*Altered arrival, dismissal,and cafeteria procedures will be in place
*Altered recess and specials procedures for elementary
*Archie School will be increasing safety protocols by providing
masks for all students, masks/shields for teachers, sanitizer
stations placed throughout the building, a heightened level of
disinfecting the building, increased social distancing, increased
level of cohort groups staying together, students and staff
educated on effective personal hygiene practices.

Reminder, the parents have been asked to fill out the form for each student in their household by Friday, July 31st.
