Charles Henry Bean was born October 12, 1943 in Appleton City, Missouri to Ernest and Martha Harmon Bean. He attended school in Appleton City, and graduated from Turner High School in Kansas City, Kansas. He worked for Perks Dog Food Company in Kanas City, Kansas for over 20 years. Later he worked as a janitor in various places, most recently he worked at the Health Department in Osceola, Missouri and the Electric Company in Eldorado Springs, Missouri. Charles was united in marriage to Linda Ewing in 1977.
He loved to hunt and fish, work outside cutting wood, but most of all Charles had a passion for helping people in need. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda, his son Bobby Bean, along with six sisters and four brothers.
He is survived by his children, Angela Bean of Appleton City, MO., Dennis Bean of Kansas City, MO., Paula Ewing of Lawrence, KS., Danny Bean of Texas, Zach Bean of Appleton City, MO., and James Ewing of Colorado. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, brother Phillip Bean and sister Norma Kloer.
