Charlotte Lane, 85 of LaCygne, Kansas passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Louisburg Healthcare and Rehab in Louisburg, Kansas. Gravesde services will be held 10:00 am Saturday, July 11, 2020 in Rockville Cemetery, Louisburg, Kansas.

Ruby Charlotte Lane was born February 18, 1935 in Lisle, Missouri to Charles and Ruby Pearl Bodenhamer Napton. She was united in marriage to Bobby Gene Lane. To this union three children were born.
4-H was a big part of Charlotte’s life, serving as a Community Leader for 30 years, she was the Miami County Fair Board Secretary as well as the Horticulture Judging Coach for Miami County. There is an engraved brick at the Kansas State Fair Grounds commemorating all her hard work.
Charlotte enjoyed gardening, puzzles, crafts, and working with the cattle. She was long-time supporter of the Kansas Hereford Association Women’s Auxiliary. She loved attending cattle shows and the Kansas State Fair.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and husband Bobby Lane. She is survived by her children, Charles Alvin Lane, William Dale Lane and wife Janet, and Patricia Kay Heald and husband Keith. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Steven Cord Lane, Amanda Justine Heald, and Heather Ann Heald, along with a brother Norman Wayne Napton.
