Joan Cox, 84, East Lynne, Missouri departed this life on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at her home surrounded by love and family.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Cox of the home; a son, Larry Hoover and wife Teresa, Marionville, Missouri; three daughters, Linda Stevens and husband Daniel, East Lynne, Missouri, Marilyn Partney, Cedar Park, Texas, Barb Shoemaker and husband Ken, Garden City, Missouri; four step-sons, David Cox and wife Lynne, Carson City, Nevada, Douglas Cox and wife Kate, East Lynne, Missouri, Robert Cox, Overland Park, Kansas, David Cox, Kansas City, Missouri; two step-daughters, Diana Chevez and husband Jim, Ponca City Oklahoma, Denise Cox, Garden City, Missouri; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Byron "Bud" Pennington, Louisburg, Kansas, Denzil "Buster" Pennington; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m.. Monday, July 13, 2020 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
A Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2020 at the Fasken Cemetery, Carthage, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Heartland Hospice in Butler, Missouri.
