On Friday July 10th, a citizen reported a suspicious person on foot in the area of B highway and 39 south of Stockton. The description matched that of a wanted person who evaded Deputies the previous day.
Sgt. Clay Jeffries deployed the drone and was able to locate the person hiding in the bushes. Lt. Lowe with assistance from Chief Deputy Johnson and Mo. Conservation Officer Farwell arrested Austin Mooney. He is currently being held in Cedar County jail on fugitive out of state warrant.
In a separate incident on the early morning of 7/11/2020 Deputy Jonathon Schwalm recovered a Honda 4 wheeler that was previously reported stolen south of Eldorado Springs.
The person who was operating the 4 wheeler took off on foot and has not been located. A Can Am UTV that was stolen out of St. Clair County was also recovered in the same area south of Eldorado Springs.
