The Clinton Fire Department will be hosting a Missouri Fire Fighter 1 & 2 Course, to include Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations, beginning October 6, 2020. Students who successfully complete the course will be administered a state exam through the Missouri State Fire Marshals Office to earn State Certification.
Student requirements for the course are as follows: must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, possess a valid drivers license, and be 18 years of age or older. Students should also be in good physical condition as the course does at times require extreme physical exertion. Applicants must be a current affiliate with a Fire Department, EMS Agency, or Police Department.
